Disappointed with the lack of choice and innovation in the plant-based, ready-to-eat snack category, we decided to take a different approach. Taking a hard pass on all of the typical, highly refined ingredients such as protein crisps, isolates, syrups, sugar alcohols, extracts, made-up-sounding fats, "natural flavour", and any weird crap that doesn't resemble actual food, we chose a no-bake, cocoa powder & olive oil brownie as our starting point and, with a bit of imagination and loads of trial and error, transformed it into a delicious and healthy protein bar that even your vegan grandma would approve of!
